About

BME students can choose Barcelona for Year 1 as part of the Study Abroad programme at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). The UAB is one of Spain’s leading universities and offers a broad range of experiences from a truly expert International academic team. While you absorb this general business foundation, you become part of  the institution's and the city’s  uniquely multi-cultural environment.

 

The Study Abroad programme  is located in central Barcelona at Casa Convalescència in a UNESCO World Heritage site. At the forefront of innovative business, design and research, this Mediterranean hotspot is a hub for creative talent in one of Europe's most inspiring cities. Costs

The cost of studying at the UAB in Barcelona, Spain consists of the following components:

  1. Application fee: € 500 deposit*

  2. Tuition fee:

    • € 6650 (EU citizen)

    • € 7250 (non-EU citizen)

  3. Monthly cost of living**: € 700-800

 

* The € 500 deposit will be deducted from the total tuition fee.

 

** The cost of living is only an estimate and will vary according to the specific student’s lifestyle, but a typical figure will be within the range mentioned here.

Accommodation

The quality of the student accommodation significantly contributes to your overall BME experience, especially when studying a full year in a foreign location for the first time. Therefore, carefully research housing options before committing to a selection. Always visit the accommodation before sending a first deposit or signing the contract.
